What sets GREEN ROVER apart from other green supplements?

Our Organic Broccoli Sprouts are rich in sulforaphane ... the most potent activator of the anti-inflammatory Nrf2 pathway.  Sulforaphane also activates critical Phase II liver detoxification.

Green Rover contains Fermented Organic Grasses and Sea Greens. It's a naturally concentrated powerhouse of vitamins and trace minerals that support immune system function.

You know greens are good for your dog ... but it can be expensive or difficult to get greens into your dog's food daily. Green Rover adds potent immune and detox benefits without the fuss or expense.

A large dog serving of Green Rover delivers an impressive 9mg of Sulforaphane. Sulforaphane has been isolated by scientists and it carries a pretty impressive body of evidence. Here are the 3 most important benefits for your dog:

Researchers from Oregon State University gave dogs Broccoli Sprout Powder, which is the richest food source of Sulforaphane. They found that Sulforaphane had the same digestibility in dogs as humans … and that they also saw a better reduction in tumor activity.

Every day, your dog is exposed to toxins. They’re in his food, his water and even the air he breaths. This buildup of toxins is highly inflammatory … and if this inflammation is left unchecked, it will damage or kill your dog’s cells. And eventually the organs they make up.
That’s one reason why your dog has a liver. Its job is to help exit inflammatory toxins from the body.
Most toxins (and carcinogens) are fat soluble. So the liver has to convert them in two steps.
Phase I detoxification use enzymes to prepare the toxins to be eliminated from the body by making them more water soluble. The problem is, the toxins are made into compounds that are even more toxic than the original ones.
If the second part of detox, Phase II, goes according to plan, this isn’t a problem. The toxins will be made completely water soluble and passed to the gall bladder and kidneys to be exited from the body.
But if Phase II detoxification doesn’t keep up, the freaky new toxins can wreak havoc with your dog.
Sulforaphane is a potent activator of phase II liver detoxification. It also activates enzymes that protect your dog’s cells from DNA damage from carcinogens and inflammatory toxins.

Sulforaphane is a potent activator of the Nrf2 pathway. Nrf2 is a protein that lives in every one of your dog’s cells. When it’s activated, it fires critical anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions throughout the entire body by activating antioxidant enzymes. One of the most important is glutathione.
Many antioxidants will increase Nrf2 and glutathione activity … but what sets Sulforaphane apart is that it’s a potent activator of Nrf2.
Like the almighty blueberry, Sulforaphane can cross the blood-brain barrier and increase antioxidant activity in the brain. And, of course, Sulforaphane increases antioxidant activity in the liver. And this has been shown in animals and humans, not just with in vitro studies.

Can Green Rover be given to cats?
Green Rover has been labeled for use in dogs only.

What is the shelf life of Green Rover?
Green Rover has a shelf life of 2 years.

How much sulforaphane is in Green Rover?
A large dog dose contains 9.25 mg. A typical human dose ranges from 7 to 34mg for a 150 pound person so there’s a good amount of sulforaphane and myrosinase in Green Rover.

Why do you use broccoli sprouts and not broccoli?
While all cruciferous vegetables contain sulforaphane, broccoli sprouts have the highest concentrations.

How does Green Rover support the liver?
Green Rover is rich in sulforaphane, which activates Phase II liver detoxification. This helps remove toxins from the body and detoxify the liver and kidneys.

Why are the greens fermented?
Fermented foods are a good source of probiotics and postbiotics such as short chain fatty acids (SCFAs). SCFAs are important activators of the immune system and help control inflammation in the body.

Why does Green Rover contain sweet potato?
Yes but the sweet potato is there to help ferment the greens. Sweet potato accounts for about 1% of the total product, so your dog only gets a minuscule amount.
