Many dogs over the age of three have plaque and tartar on their teeth and are said to be developing periodontal disease. If plaque (a mass of bacteria) is left untreated, it will bind with calcium and phosphorus in saliva and calcify, turning into tartar within three to five days.

The direct cause of periodontal disease is the bacteria in dental plaque. Because the surface of dental tartar is uneven, it is easier for plaque to adhere and periodontal disease to develop, so brushing your teeth daily is very important.

High functional zeolite content
It contains a unique blend of high-quality natural zeolite as a cleaning agent. The micro particles not only remove plaque, but also adsorb calcium (Ca) in saliva, which causes tartar, through its ion exchange function. It also contains apatite and sodium polyphosphate as cleaning aids.

Zeolite is a crystallization formed over a long period of time, from volcanic ash that fell on the seabed and land due to volcanic eruptions, long before mankind is said to have been born, 5 to 10 million years ago.

Zeolite is a water-insoluble compound that has characteristics such as ion exchange functionality and is widely used in a variety of fields, including agricultural soil improvement, livestock feed, water purification and filtration.

Our zeolite toothpaste contains a high concentration of natural zeolite, which is why the paste is green in color, but this does not affect the quality of the product.

Use as a toothpaste
Zeolite is also known in the oral cavity field for its ability to prevent tartar formation, and has been commercialized for human use by many manufacturers and has been used for a long time.
