What is Healthy Spine & Disc used for?

Healthy Spine & Disc is a unique spinal support supplement for dogs, vet-recommended to specifically target connective tissue health within the back. A special form of cartilage, along with vitamins, amino acids, and other healthful ingredients, helps to promote proper structure and function of the spine.

This back support supplement is particularly recommended for breeds who may more commonly experience discomfort in the spine, including Dachshunds, Corgis, Basset Hounds, French Bulldogs, Pekingese, and German Shepherds.

How does Healthy Spine & Disc work?

Healthy Spine & Disc works by combining unique, vet-formulated ingredients which are necessary for the support and maintenance of spinal discs and the surrounding connective tissues. The amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and bovine cartilage in this supplement all help address mobility challenges and discomfort in the spine. They help promote the production of collagen as well as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which help support joint lubrication. Both are essential for a healthy, comfortable back.

Ingredient Highlights

Bovine tracheal cartilage is a rich, natural source of chondroitin sulfates, a type of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are important components of cartilage, synovial fluid, tendons, and ligaments. This cartilage helps to support the function of connective tissue and the health and function of the discs in the spine.

L-taurine and L-serine are amino acids that support muscle health and growth. They're also important for the body's use of minerals including calcium and can support the production of collagen.

Manganese helps to maintain the structure and health of connective tissues in the spinal discs. It also plays an important part in supporting normal bone growth, cartilage health, and the maintenance of synovial fluid within joints in the spine. Zinc also helps to support bone health and the production of collagen.

Vitamins C and B6 help with the production of collagen and certain proteins, and support tissue growth and repair. Vitamin D3 and Magnesium are important for the absorption of Calcium, which is essential for healthy bones and can help support muscle strength.

Horsetail Rush herb powder is a source of flavonoids, alkaloids, minerals, and more. It can help encourage a healthy inflammatory response, offers antioxidant properties, and its natural, plant-based silicon plays a role in bone health and growth. Pepsin helps with the absorption of silicon.
