What is Vetri Disc used for?

Vetri Disc is a unique spinal support supplement for dogs, vet-recommended to specifically target connective tissue health within the back. A special form of cartilage, along with vitamins, amino acids, and other healthful ingredients, helps to promote proper structure and function of the spine.

This back support supplement is particularly recommended for breeds who may more commonly experience discomfort in the spine, including Dachshunds, Corgis, Basset Hounds, French Bulldogs, Pekingese, and German Shepherds.

Vetri Disc combines bovine tracheal cartilage with amino acids, mineral sulfates, vitamins, pepsin, and horsetail rush (Equisetum arvense) to support back health and the spine’s connective tissues.

Bovine tracheal cartilage is a rich source of chondroitin sulfates which comprise the connective tissue matrix and are found in an especially high concentration in the spinal and invertebrate disc tissues. Taurine and horsetail rush are necessary for the synthesis of connective tissue while minerals like calcium and magnesium support bone growth and maintenance. Zinc is necessary for tissue respiration and plays a key role in the body’s healing process. Amino acids such as serine link the glycosaminoglycan structure to connective tissue proteins, and vitamins C and D support collagen production and calcium absorption.

Convenient capsules are ideal for picky or sensitive pets. They can be given directly by mouth, tucked inside of a pill-hiding treat, or opened and sprinkled over your pets meal. They are made with no added flavoring or extra calories, so Vetri Disc is easy to digest.

» Manganese is necessary for the activation of enzymes that are vital for the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans.
» Equisetum Arvense, a natural source of silicon which is necessary for the synthesis and integrity of connective tissue.
» Vitamin C (calcium ascorbate and ascorbic acid) supports collagen production and glycosaminoglycan metabolism.
» Calcium is essential for proper growth and maintenance of bone.
» Pyridoxine HCI (vitamin B6) is necessary for the formation of certain proteins and aids in nerve function.
» Vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium from the intestinal tract and in the breakdown and assimilation of
phosphorous.
» Magnesium (sulfate, oxide) helps aid bone growth and the assimilation of calcium and potassium. Magnesium also
plays an important role in neuromuscular contractions (relaxes the muscles).
» Zinc (sulfate) is necessary for tissue respiration and is important in the healing process.
» Taurine is a sulfur containing amino acid involved in the synthesis of connective tissue.
